Canaan Group
Canaan Group is a family of companies working across Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Ghana, Rwanda and the United States. Its businesses span construction, real estate, manufacturing and hospitality. Over the years the group has delivered building projects and supplied construction materials to the UN, oil companies, NGOs and government bodies, and it is a registered vendor on the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM no. 402174).
Each division is staffed by qualified specialists: engineers, managers and technicians, backed by a skilled and general workforce that is large enough to take on projects of any scale.

Developing and building property is our core business, with projects across Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan and the USA.
Hospitality
We own two four-star hotels in the business districts of Kampala and Nairobi, both operated by Golden Tulip: Golden Tulip Canaan Kampala and Royal Tulip Canaan Nairobi.
Light industry
Our manufacturing arm includes a bottled water plant in Juba, South Sudan, Canaan Beverages in Uganda and Canaan Dairies in Kenya. We aim to do business responsibly and to improve the lives of the people around us.
